Lisa Issenberg first created the X Games medals in 2020, and she’s back for a second year. RIDGWAY, Colo. — A Colorado artist is the mastermind behind the sought-after 2021 X Games medals. Lisa Issenberg of Ridgway is the founder and owner of Kiitellä, which is a metal-working studio that makes custom awards. Kiitellä means “to thank, applaud, praise” in Finnish. Early on, Issenberg focused on metal-working at both a small and large scale.

Verify: Email sent from CDPHE asking for proof of vaccination

A viewer wrote into our verify team asking if an email he received from CDPHE was real and safe to respond to. DENVER — People overdue for their second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine may get or might have already gotten an email from the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). New “Gear Library” at Colorado Mountain College makes outdoor activities more accessible

The gear library is open to Lake County Residents and students, it provides a place to temporarily rent outdoor equipment. LEADVILLE, Colo. — Colorado Mountain College (CMC) in Leadville has a new library, but this one doesn’t carry books. CMC partnered with Get Outdoors Leadville! (GOL!) to create a “gear library” on campus where residents of Lake County can purchase an annual membership for $30, or students can purchase for $15, according to their website.

103-year-old survives COVID-19 – 2020 won’t stop her

Lucile Ransom’s daughter said her mother has inspired so many and COVID nor 2020 can stop her from being full of life. STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. — Lucile Ransom has been through a lot in her life. As a little girl, she lived through the 1918 pandemic and she was married during the depression. She has also suffered the loss of a child, recovered from two broken hips and survived breast cancer at age 80. 2020 can’t stop her.
